Joining us from Massachusetts, Attorney Jaclyn M. Bates received her undergraduate and law degrees from the prestigious Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island. Attorney Bates completed an accelerated course of study that allowed her to complete her undergraduate and law degrees, with honors, in only six years.

She graduated from Roger Williams University with honors, Magna Cum Laude, in May of 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies and a second major in Psychology. She received her Law Degree in May of 2017. Throughout law school, Attorney Bates participated in multiple pro bono legal clinics providing legal counsel to inmates housed in the Rhode Island Department of Corrections. She also interned with a number of prestigious government agencies such as the Norfolk Commonwealth Attorney’s Office in Norfolk, Virginia and the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office in Providence, Rhode Island.
Attorney Bates passed the July 2017 Rhode Island Bar exam and quickly received her first license to practice law. She is currently a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association. After passing the Rhode Island Bar Exam, she relocated to middle Tennessee and successfully passed the Tennessee February 2018 Bar Exam.
