Bio

Keaton W. Murphy has been an associate attorney at Goble & Yow, PLLC in Clarksville, Tennessee since his admission to the Tennessee Bar Association in 2019. Mr. Murphy accepts a variety of cases but focuses his practice primarily on criminal defense, as well as family and juvenile law, personal injury, and civil litigation. Mr. Murphy is an active member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (TACDL), a statewide organization dedicated to acting as a voice and support system for the criminally accused and the attorneys who represent them. Having practiced in more than a dozen counties across Tennessee, Mr. Murphy is willing to go wherever his clients need him.

Mr. Murphy is a 2019 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he completed a concentration in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. While in law school, Mr. Murphy spent his time preparing for a career as a litigator by studying Advanced Trial Practice and working at the Knox County Public Defender’s Community Law Office, the Federal Defender’s Office of East Tennessee, and the University of Tennessee Advocacy Clinic.

Before attending law school, Mr. Murphy graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In his time there, Mr. Murphy was a radio host for 90.3 “The Rock” FM, a photographer for The Daily Beacon newspaper, and worked part-time at the Knox County Election Commission.

Mr. Murphy is proud to be a Tennessee native. Outside of practicing law, Mr. Murphy is an avid fan of the Tennessee Volunteers and Green Bay Packers, loves to play guitar, and is a lifelong outdoor enthusiast. While growing up in Knoxville, Mr. Murphy often spent his time hiking, camping, kayaking, and enjoying the natural beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains and Tennessee foothills.
